Trumbull Hall Troupe (THT), area teen and tween theatre group, has changed the way it adds new cast members.
With the THT cast, once kids are added they are in until they elect to leave or graduate high school. New cast members are needed every year as members graduate or move on to other things.  In the past cast additions were made by invitation but beginning in 2019 THT will hold open auditions for new Troupe members.
THT is different in other ways too. Since it’s inception in 2004 THT has been a home for middle school as well as high school students. This mix of ages allows theatre newbies to work with older more experienced kids and learn the ropes. Another difference is THT gives net show proceeds to charities that support children. And, in addition to donating monies to charities our cast and crew interact with our annual charities in personal ways such as running theatre workshops for elementary kids at the Upper Valley Haven, singing before and walking/running at the annual CHaD Hero, and writing letters to AIDS orphans in Zimbabwe.
